A Second Hand WoW Account Review

Someone I know was looking into buying a WoW account recently and came to talk to me about it since they know I do that from time to time. I’d really been hoping for this to come up because I’m finding myself low on discretionary income these days and haven’t been able to make a buy myself.

Thankfully, he’d just gotten his tax return and was looking to make a quick buy so that he’d be ready for the upcoming months. Plus, he let me tag along for the ride and give him some hints about shopping.

We started things out in good ol’ Google, doing a basic search for places to buy WoW accounts. Of course there were thousands of hits, which meant a world of time digging through garbage to find good sites. We were able to weed out a few that were obvious Chinese farmers (while I don’t have any specific problem with them, he got nailed in the WoW 3.1 patch deal and is gunshy). From there we also avoided any places that didn’t have money-back guarantees. That left us with only a few sites.

One of them looked really good, but he was against it. Two other sites turned out to be overseas as well. Then we came to another one that I’m familiar with, and I know is based in the us. He was sold immediately on Toonstorm.com. He made the purchase and waited for about 3 minutes to get his confirmation call. After speaking with someone in Cleveland, he was pleasantly surprised to find out that the delivery would only take about an hour.

He hopped on and started to monitor as what they recommended. He also started getting a list made of things he wanted. He didn’t have as much time as he wanted for that because it only took about 25 minutes before he got the message to meet. After that it was a simple matter to pick up his goods and walk away that much richer.

Overall, he was really happy with his experience. Yay Toonstorm.com!.

How to Sell WoW Account

Someone I've played with before, not one of my good friends, but a friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend sort of acquaintance, just had his account suspended the other day. He'd sell WoW account at a new site thinking he'd save a few bucks, but it ended up biting him really badly. The delivery boy was not careful at all and his actions caught the attention of the GMs. I don't know the specifics, but I do know he's out for the next couple of months.

With that in mind, I thought I'd share a few tips to keep you safe after you've made a buy.

First off, only trust sites with a money-back guarantee. These sites are willing to put their money in jeopardy when working with you to make sure that you're as safe as possible. If you want an example of a good one, check the one at Sell WoW Account. Nice and clear cut.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the GMs are always paying attention Their whole job is to catch people who are abusing or taking advantage of the system, and they're good at it. Sure, their major targets are spammers and flamers, or those using bots, but they're just as happy to bust one of us. So keep it on the DL. Even if they somehow miss your comment, someone else will catch it and report you with the same results.

Another big thing that people don't think of is doing homework. I know none of us like that word, but it is really important if you're going to do this safely. If you're going to sell WoW account, make sure that you know how. Jump on sites like this or others to find out the best sites and safest practices. You wouldn't go skydiving without an instructor the first time, so keep your character safe by learning from others before jumping in yourself.

The reason I get worried about this sort of thing is pretty simple. Once enough people get caught, the developers will figure a way to make some sort of sweeping move to get the rest of us. As long as we're safe, they leave us alone.

Hello and Welcome To Toonstormer's Lair Blog

Hey, how’s everyone doing?

This is the first post in my new blog on where and how to buy gaming accounts for your coolest mmorpg gaming experience!

First, a little about myself.  I work IT for a firm in the midwest (sorry I have to be so vague.  they hate when I get specific about anything when I’m not at work) and have been a long time MMO player.  I was into Diablo series before Diablo was big until now, and have tried out just about every other MMO since then.  When SWTOR came out in December, I was absolutely amazed with just how far things had come since the old days.  Since then, I’ve been plugging steadily away at my ranger, and have finally hit higher level.  It’s slow going since my day job sometimes requires me to be on-call in the evenings, but it’s been worth it.

One thing that I’ve noticed about Star Wars The Old Republic is that it falls into a trap that most MMO’s do.  In order to get the best gear out there, you have to spend all of your time grinding out the money.  Rift did it, WoW does it, Aion does it, so it’s not like there wasn’t a precedent.  It’s just kind of annoying is all.  I don’t care just how much time you have to play, no one wants to spend all of their time running the same pointless route to make enough money for one high-end item and then have to do it all over again for the next one.

So, a couple of months ago, I decided to try a new method.  I had been able to buy golds/accounts and other such things online before, so I figured I’d try it out for Star Wars, too.  As luck would have it, places have already jumped on and are waiting to sell you their star wars accounts!
One place I’ve used before is Toonstorm.com.  I really like them, and I’ll tell you why in my next post with a full on review.  I did want to mention them right now because they’re offering 10% off purchases on special events or releases, so it’s the best time to buy star wars account for sale.

Catch you on the flipside!
